Finally updated pics. of Mack and family

I could eat this guy for lunch!!!! Sorry I have not updated the blog in a while- I am going to get better I promise! Anyway, i was trying to get a picture of Mack and he just smiled in his sleep! I love his cheeks and just about everything about him! He really is a sweet boy and he is only fussy if he is hungry. He is doing ok at night, I wish he would skip a feeding but I know I need to be patient. Overall having 4 has been pretty good. I feel like sleep deprivation is the only thing that really bothers me. The older kids just love Mack so much, they take turns holding him all the time. Stu and I feel extremely happy and blessed to have our new little Mack man. And of course I think he is the cutest, sweetest little boy ever born! (cheese ball mom)
Our little Mack man in the burrito wrap that Stu does so well. He loves to be swaddled. He is in a Dodgers blanket that one of Stu's assistants from work gave him. Stu loves the Dodgers. Thanks Ebony!
Catherine in her ballet clothes holding Mack. She LOVES to hold him and is so sweet to him. It looks like Mack is cheering for someone. If we could read his mind I know it would say "Go Cougars!" He looks so much like Luke when he was born in this picture.
Jane is the best helper and it is always a family event when Mack gets a bath. Everyone wants to help or just sit and watch. Mack is so lucky to have all these older siblings that love him so much! He is positively getting his recommended daily hugs and kisses!
Smile!!!! Luke and Stu are just soul mates and Luke is truly obsessed with Stu. Stu calls him is little "Man Cub" and Luke loves the nick name. He will just randomly throughout the day remind me that he is daddy's Man Cub. I love this picture. Sorry it is side ways -I don't know how to switch it!

Halloween at the Segura home

Cat woman! Catherine is actually wearing a pig mask here but I thought it was a cat. She looks so dramatic though. I love her eyes.

Luke was Super man for Halloween. He was concerned that his cape wasn't flowing enough so for the first few hours I had to follow behind him and lift his cape like he was flying through the air. He was so cute.

Jane was our Barbi princess, Catherine was a beautiful bride and Luke was saving the day as super man. We had so much fun at Halloween, Luke still begs to go trick or treating again. He loves candy like his mom!

Catherine the bride.

Super Luke!

More of our little Mack attack

Well I am happy to say our little Mack man is here and well and I am so glad it is all over!!! :) On wed. the 8th we went into the hospital at about 2:30 and things were going great. It wasn't until I realized that the epidural was only working on my right leg. Yikes! You don't need more details than that. Anyway, little Mack came into this world at 6:38pm and was kicking and crying a lot. He was so pink and just an active little guy. He has a lot of hair, especially in the back and I must say I am truly in love with him! He looks like a good mix between Jane and Luke, but I think he has his own little look. There are so many times when I look at him and I just think he looks exactly like Luke though! I am so happy he is here and the Segura clan is happy to add him to our little family. We love you all!

Kids holding Mack

Catherine is such a doll! She couldn't be more excited to hold Mack.
Jane was loving holding Mack too. Her smile says it all. I love those little feet sticking out.
Luke just kept looking at him wondering how he got here. Mack looks so much like Luke here.
Happy big brother! Luke is wearing a "I'm a big brother" pin the hospital gave him.
Stu with his two boys! I cant believe how blessed we are the have these two boys.

coming home to 3 excited kids

We came home from the hospital to a fun "welcome home" sign thanks to Nana and the kids. They were sooooo excited to see their little Mack again. Thanks Nana!
Mack's first night at home. What a joy!

Baby Mack has arrived!!!

Well, today it all went down. We went to the hopsital this afternoon for the induction. All was going smooth until the contractions really started. It turns out that the epidural didn't really work out as only Christine's right leg got the effects. She did great and was able to get through labor even with all the pain and our new boy Mack was born at about 6:40pm (6 lbs. 11 oz. 17.5 in). Christine and Mack are both doing great. I'm sure more posts will be coming in the future. Here are a few pics.

Big belly mama! Only I can say that.

Stu's resident program threw a baby shower for me and two other people having babies in the program. This is Jennifer his fellow resident- she is due two weeks before me! They gave us these huge ribbon/bow things to wear but I notice that she took hers off! I didn't know you could take it off!
CAKE! They were so sweet and had a boy cake just for Mack. The others are having girls. I look so happy ready to eat the cake! I had a piece for Mack too:)
My Hawaiian men. Stu was a good sport that night. What dad isn't just so excited to go to some old, small, hot, smelly elementary school lunch room for some warm Hawaiian Punch and dry cookies? Not to mention the beautiful accessories they had us put on! Lucky dad!

Hawaiian party at school

This is Catherine and Luke at the Hawaiian party we had at Jane and Catherine's school. Love those pink Hawaiian Punch lips Luke!

I didn't mean to but I uploaded this picture twice and I don't know how to delete it yet! Sorry. Double the pleasure for you all:)

Jane holding her new cousin Emmie. Can you tell she is just a LITTLE excited to hold babies? She is already saying things like "I know, I know mom, I am going to have to change Mack's diapers and feed him. It will just be my job." I don't want to crush her by telling her she isn't quite big enough do all those things. Catherine is just as excited! Yikes! I can tell Mack is going to be mothered quite a bit whether he likes it or not!

Here are the 3 kiddos at Christmas 2007.

My first go round

Well, we are going to give it shot...blogging that is. Millie was nice enough to set it up for us because, well she is a nice person. We don't really expect anyone we don't already know to read this so if it sounds repetitive to you, too bad. The pictures that are there are from the summer Balboa trip, and Millie posted them. We are still trying to figure out how to post pictures, so for now those will have to do. The only real news we have is that we expect baby Mack to come any day. We are all excited to meet him.

That will have to for our first official post.

Its time to go to bed.
